And so we'v reached the end of 2004...

I'll be working tomoro - from 10AM may i add, and will most likely be busy tonight so I thought id take the time out of my revision, no wait "revision" scehdule to write a quick notey note.

Hope you all had a wonderful 2004, whether it sucked or whether it rocked doesnt matter, what matters is learning from your mistakes, seeing how much certain people mean to you and living life to the full. Anf of course not taking things for granted - like bread.

I know you'v all seen the news, the magazines, the websites and i know you'v all heard the preacher telling us to be grateful for what we own so i wont go down that road - if i did, i'd probably reduce you to tears with a moving and highly profound speech that makes you all cry like a baby. Like a baby thats really really really... sad! Yeah.

But despite that, in light of the recent events I really feel like doing a Ryan J and announcing really just how much you all really mean to me. Really. Yes even you :)
But then i thought about it and i realised, i dont need to tell you how i feel. I dont need to write it down on my computer screen so that you can read it. Words seem so insignificant now. Im sitting here by the window - its raining like hell- but everythings okay.
Looking back at the past few months i realise a lot has happened. And not just in our little "friendship group" alone. The whole world around us is constantly moving and ever changing. And now even though the trials and "drama" we faced seem so small and insignificant now, I guess Im now seeing outside of the box.
But what worries me is, why does it take so much to make us all see the light? I mean the amount of people who i'v talked to have said its only recently that theyv fully understood how lucky they are. The question is, why does it take such an extreme measure to show us just how truly small we are in the whole circle of life.

Looking back on 2004 now theres not really much point in wondering how things could have been different. Im not saying to forget completely- definitely not. There are memories of 2004 that we need to hold in our minds. Memories of 2004 that most certainly never can, let alone never will, be forgotten. They say we live, we learn - and its true.
The thing is, its not about dwelling on what we could have done or what we should have done. Instead, now its all about what we can do. One person CAN make a difference and together - just think of what we can achieve.

Iv kind of lost my initial point- i think it was about bread- but now i just want to say, i wish you all, from the bottom of my heart, a truly happy new year.
Its time to step into 2005 with only the most valuable memories of 2004. The ones that you learnt from. The ones that shape you into the person you'r going to become. Because it is only with these priceless memories that we can make the world truly a better place.
The rest is history.

*raises glass*

Much love xXXXx

I know MYSNIL isnt often about serious stuff so heres to a bit of variation!

IM DOING THIS IN CAPITALS SO AS TO GET EVERYBODY'S (YES, THAT MEANS YOU DAMMIT!), AND I MEAN EVERYBODY'S ATTENTION. I'M PLANNING TO DO SOME SERIOUS FUNDRAISING FOR THE TSUNAMI DISASTER WHICH, AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, HAS A CONFIRMED DEATH TOLL OF 77,828 PEOPLE. THATS A HELL OF A LOT OF PEOPLE. AND IT'S GOING TO RISE. LOTS. ESPECIALLY WITHOUT PROPER FUNDS, FOOD, MEDICINE ETC.

I KNOW THAT ON A BIG SCALE OF THINGS, MY EFFORT SEEMS PRETTY POINTLESS, BUT AS GOOD OLD TESCO'S SAYS, EVERY LITTLE HELPS. MONEY THAT WE RAISE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE DISASTERS EMERGENCY COMMITTEE WHICH IS LINKED TO MOST WORLDWIDE AID ORGANISATIONS SUCH AS OXFAM AND CHRISTIAN AID AND DIRECTLY PROVIDES HELP.

IF ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEAS/CONTRIBUTIONS TO FUNDRAISING EFFORTS, CONTRIBUTIONS OR OTHER RELATED ISSUES THEN PLEASE EITHER POST IT UP HERE OR SEND IT TO ME AT: Elizadonkey2003@yahoo.co.uk

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH ALL THOSE PEOPLE NEED YOUR HELP. IM THINKING MAYBE FUND COLLECTION, SOME FUNDRAISING EVENTS ETC ETC…?

LOVE U ALL, AND, OF COURSE, GOD BLESS THOSE THOUSANDS AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS TERRIBLE DISASTER IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Okay people, you heard /read. I'v now made it my sole mission to use this site for the greater good (if it wasnt being used like that already of course :) ) and get all you readers to pitch in on this.
On first thoughts im thinking, sponsored silence, sponsored starve (lol that would be interesting), sponsored party - again lol, sponsored erm... raffle?

lol let me hear you!

It's that mirthy time of the year again...

Christmas eve.
Its slightly disheartening to think that on Christmas Eve, instead of going out with friends and getting supremely festive, im making merry within the confines of my house. Whoopdeedoo.

However, not to name and shame but so are twelve other people on my MSN list. So neh to all you people laughing and a big word up to losers like me and Greenie and Machet and Hicks and so forth! (we rule big ass meteor style)

Anyways, today is the day. THe day before christmas. Normally in the past - okay last year only- i would stay up til 1 minute past midnight just to post a huge blog saying MERRY XMAS in several different languages (the joy of freetranslation.com) HOWEVER this year is the year i became a working girl hence i am actually too knackered to stay up. (Or, maybe im just getting a life? Oooooh!) But yeah, iv spent the majority of today dressed up as a fairy and prancing about in Boots waving at little children and wishing everyone a "merry christmas"
Oh tis the season all right. All the kids are hyped up - running about knocking over boxes and stuff.
Bastards.

ANYWAY!
lol nah its cool they are mostly cute - except I made a baby cry by waving at it today. The mother said not to be offended as "it happens a lot" - though i wasnt sure what she was implying..
Meh

Shrek was on earlier - thats such a great film - what the hell am i doing? I was meant to write a Christmas blog for you all to see and read and marvel at - maybe shed a tear at - if you'r that drunk *cough Stophig cough* - but yeah iv done a Zoe and avoided the subject like a real man! :D

The primary point (alliteration) of my blog was to wish you all a very merry Christmas - and yes ALL of you - no matter how gay Im calling you at the moment - even you pooey people deserve a break once a year :) Anyways, many thanks for all the cards, presents, underwear - you know who you are and have the best christmas with lots of fun and presents and happiness and MIRTH!
MIRTH I TELL YOU! MIRTH!!
I love you all. And no matter how drunk i sound, i assure you, i am on the level. Well, on the normal level for me that is.

I shall not speak again until maybe ... tomoro .. okay probably not, 26th you say? 26th it is then! Lol if i havent passed out with the sheer hyperness - you all know how i get - seriously one day all the fun and MIRTH is just going to take its toll on my heart. My poor poor mirthy heart. *correction Mirthful perhaps?

Anyway (for the millionth time)
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS! - More festive blogs for the new year coming shortly.

Now go I to wrap presents. And mirthful ones at that!
(seriously, theres an Eeyore doll which flaps its ears and sings in an oh so mirthful way.)

:D And dont forget- TURKEYS ARE THE ANTICHRIST - eat your turkey with might, with momemtum and most importantly with joy, happiness and a dash of christmas spirit.

Much Love.
xXx

Thats one huge f*** off asteroid!

Yes people, its Christmas and its that time of the year again!
ARMAGEDDON IS ON!!

TO quote from the last post on Armageddon - many months back-

The best film EVER is on! (well not THE best but a pretty darn goodun) ARMAGEDDON!Its got action, tears, space and most importantly Ben Affleck ( or Liv Tyler if you’r a member of the bloke folk) – What else do you need? Its Deep Impact - but for REAL men (not just Elijah Wood's wimpy Beiderman boy)And if that doesn’t do it for you than a huge fuck off meteor hurtling towards the Earth alongside some explosive action (no pun intended) should help tip the scales right?AND! The most classic theme song - Aerosmith's - I dont Wanna Miss A Thing *reaches for the tissues* ......

And yeah, many months down the line, my opinion hasnt really changed - except Ben Affleck isnt really all that after the whole "Bennifer" episode. He was always much more appealing when he was married to Matt Damon lol.
ANyways - just thought id put a quick note up as its such a great film - though talking of great films - we are watching LOTR- FOTR in Comms - for educational reasons i know not, but hey! We get to watch Orlando Bloom prace about with girl hair.

Best Quotes :

President: We didn't see this thing coming?
Man: Well, our object collison budget's about a million dollars. That
allows us to track about 3% of the sky, and beg'n your pardon sir, but it's a
big-ass sky

Bruce Willis: I'm not gonna kill him, I'm just gonna shoot him in the leg. He can still work with one leg!

A.J: You know it's all funny until somebody gets shot in the leg.

Get off... the nuclear... warhead

Bruce Willis: Uhm, Bear would like to stay at the... [tries to read writing] Bruce Willis: "White horse"? [looks up at Bear] Bear: White, *House*. White House.

Bruce Willis: Yeah one more thing, uh... none of them wanna pay taxes again. [pause] Bruce Willis: Ever.

NOW BLOW THAT METEOR OUTTA THE SKY!!!! WOOOAR popcorn time la la la

To quote the tag line - Time To Kick Some Asteriod

:D

Manky weather, pretty dress, all because of MISS AHS...

Hehe thought id do a bit of rhyme today...
But yeah, first of, Miss AHS which FINALLY got underway after thursdays chaos. Seriously, one fuse blows and the whole floor gets knocked out. Sixthform common room was plunged into darkness - so the vending machines werent working. Gay.

ANyway, like i said, we got it going and it was GREAT!
Big shout out to the people who supported it and the team leaders of course lol
And an extra big shoutout to the people at the beginning- especially Hoskins lol you alll know what i mean, but to quote Hoskins
"GO WONG!"
Looool! Completely forgot what i had to say and was like so..... I'll just say something here..... but yes, blessums to you all - hope you got the sweets i lobbed at you. (me and my MAN throw)

And yes, its amazing to see how many people will scream for two measly sweets lol (sorry ChizBiz and ChazBaz, i didnt see you)

Anyways the winner was this really sweet year 7 from STOWE (wooo) and it ruled muchly.

Couldnt be arsed to take off pretty dress for the rest of the day (because to be honest, its really a two man job - oh dear, that sounds wrong, just forget i said it!)
But yeah, for VARIOUS reasons, the pretty dress stayed on. But woe is me, woe is me...
*ahem*
Now, SOME of you may have seen the rain pelting on your windows from the safety of your cars, homes, buses - THOSE THAT WERE ON TIME OF COURSE.

Unfortunately, today happened to be the day where my bus was late. Quite late.
And then the sky changed, everything went dark and it started to rain. And rain. And rain.
TO quote Elsh "Its well rainy!!"
And then the wind picked up and it was FREEEZING
Now, for those of you out in that weather, think of how cold you were.
And then think of me, in a measly two layers - one of which was just flimsy chiffon- and think how FROZEN i was!

But yeah it was like a scene out of "The Day AFter Tomorrow" - for those of you who'v seen it. ANd even though it was quite scary - me and elsh both admitted it was pretty exciting lol
Yes i know, i need to get out more.

Oooh speaking of getting out - yesterday was the Boots Crew Work Party. Shout out to all youse lot. It was so good! LOL stepped into Hogshead and this guy comes up to Rachel saying "we were discussing how long your legs are." and she was like "erm.. Iv got ... heels?.."
And there was me laughin with Soph and Soph whilst trying not to freeze from the cold winds blowing around me -- See i recognise a pattern with me and "freezignuss" - I NEED TO START WEARING MORE CLOTHES lol

Didnt get home till half twelve and then it was up again at six thirty for a day of school!!! Wooo....
Have yet to deliver all my crimbo cards - for those of you who'v got theirs, hope you like! Or something..... Just dont send them back to me all cut up into pieces...

:D Its christmas soooon!
PLus reminder for 12L hunnys - the party - if you dont know whether you'r sweet, savoury or drinks yet - talk to me!
Yassm, thats it for today.
Adios!

PS Grease is finally on the way! Yay!

Fundraising Week 2004

And its here again girls! It all started with todays Old Folks party and luncheon and heres the social line up for this week.
Tuesday- Top of the Pops
Wednesday- Teacher Kareoke
Thursday- Miss AHS
Friday- Christmas panto

May i just add, not to be biased or anything but Miss AHS this year is going to rock. So bad. So hard. God this sounds like something out of a dodgy movie.
But yeah, the reason why its going to be so good you wonder? Wel i'll tell you, its because we have a kick as script packed full of the cackytacky goodness that makes fundraising week what it is.
Cheese lovers beware - you will love this.
Plus i get to wear a pweddy dress so EVERYONES happy! Yay! *does happy badger dance*

Just a quick note for you all to note down in your diaries.
I dont see you noting down.
NOTE DOWN i say!!
(thankies!)

Also may i add that tomoro is the rehearsal for the "GCSE Certificate Evening" Yeah, my bet is that its Year 9 evening all over again. STOWE REUNION!!! YAY! But anyways, its in the morning so we must all be in school promptly so we can be told which hand to shake with and which hand to receive with.
(here come the dodgy movie lines again!)

Im going to shut up now.

What?! I cant eat bread?!

Who's gonna preach to you about "why we take bread for granted" now huh?!

Pleh, i quote directly from the "information sheet" my dentist gave me
AVOID

Polo mints - gay
Sticky Sweets - gay
Chewing Gum - extra gay
Bubble Gum - double bubble gay
Chocolate bars with toffee - Meeeeh i love Toffee Crisps
Chocolate with nuts inside - No more "Meester with zees Ferrero Rocher you are reeeally spoiling us!" *cries*
Boiled sweets - Gaaay
Nuts - LOL hush
Crusty bread - The biggest hard hitter of them all. What will i eat now for lunch!? What am i going to poke people with now?! Meh, i should have said "Check out my rod/baton/ etc" as many times as i could when i had the chance...

The dentist said "Oooh, it looks like you have DIAMONDS in your mouth"

But hes a freak.

And if thats not stoopwid enough - im getting bottoms as well!
ON VALENTINES DAY!!!
Not like im doing anything for it, but its the whole principle behind it!

ON a random note - the maths lecture at the OU in Milton Keynes the other day was ..... boring to be honest. There was a row of "Maths Geeks" behind us who put their hands up to almost every single question that the man asked such as - who knows what *insert elgnthy maths sounding word here* is? etc etc
People fell asleep, people drew doodles, people started singing in their head.
Okay people was me and I was bored.
Sorry, but im sure theres gotta b more interesting things in the world than "SOLVING DOTTY PROBLEMS"
Six pounds not so well spent lol
However, we got free refreshments (tea and mince pies and biscuits)
I even managed to slip a mince pie into my lunchbox for later...... Sly.

Plus extra random - i fell over AGAIN the other day. Was coming out of T-O talking to people animatedly (we'd just applied for UCAS cards) - heel gets caught in trousers, Zoe keels over - big *gdmmfph* is heard as Zoe crashes into the door before getting up quickly like nothing ever happened.
Shame the whole class noticed...

Here cometh the Day of Doom...(eth)

It all starts tomorrow.
Thou shalt see me on Wednesday a new person! Well, on the outside at least.
Meeesus. No more five meals a day for me. No more apples - eaten the normal way, sorry but cutting things up is for pussies. Apparently fizzy drinks are bad too.
AND!
Get this.

I have declared to give up chocolate.

Okay, cut down on it at least.
Hey, im only human.
But yeah, just thought id moan and whine about it. Hey, its only a few bits of "dental gear" for a year or so.
Poo.
Shifty Shyam says "Haha, cant wait, its gona be joookes, ur gona have a lisp for a bit!"
Oh crap - no one mentioned anything about a lisp!!!

Am now not in the mood for writing things silly and stoopwid, as is the way of the MYNSIL world.

BUT I will digress on the subject of RECORD OF THE YEAR – just for a little bit of course.
Obviously the winners were teenypop sensation Busted – followed with a difference of one point by McFly – no surprises there (tho McFly are okay) – Anastasia was 3rd, Will Young 4th and Katie Melua 5th.

In MY top five would have been
Maroon 5 – This Love
Will Young –Leave Right Now
Scissor Sisters –Laura
And McFly – Obviously was waay better than 5 Colours.

But hey. If I had my way, I bet you all can guess who would be number one.
".... and if you let me, im gonna flip reverse it…"

Totally.

Proper and naked? ... Proper naked!

Started writing article an hour or so ago.
Have finally finished.
You all (y'all) have saved my skin by posing as my general public (though i know you'r all far from ordinary. You rules greatly. AND thankies for the comments - jsut because iv finished the article, doesnt mean the issue is closed. So no trying to end things "once and for all" because .... thats never happened before. We've never come to an agreement. We are freaks that need to argue with eachother to survive. Yes.
(lets go join a circus!!!)

Anyway, nothing really much to say today - except im getting ill. Gayarse.

Also an interesting quote in English today. Milzani - neednt say anymore lol
Situation- Silly little characters in silly litle shakespeare play have finally realised that one of the characters is ... silly - something that the audience have known all along (dramatic irony and all that jazz)
The question:
"What would the audience say now that he's found out the truth?"
"Erm.... you're right!?"
"Wahey!"
"Great!"
"No, anyone else?"
"Hes behind you!" .... hehee

And then there was Raquel who had to find an oxymoron so lol, she picks out the first thing she can see
"Erm.. proper nakedness - thats proper and ....... naked?"

I look at Katus exchange glances.
"Proper nakedness ehhh"

And thats our English lesson for you.
Next time - More Economics and "they have what we economists call animal spirits" .... "like Brother Bear?" .... "Whats that?" ...... "Ahh Mr Skinner, you have much to learn!"

Til then! :D
